After a weekend spent in Dumbo, Brooklyn, it is easy to tell why Brooklyn has such a great attraction. From remarkable views to tasty food and wonderful shops, you can pretty much spend a whole day in Brooklyn and still not get enough of it’s fun and enjoyable atmosphere.

So, what are the best places to eat in Brooklyn?

From pineapple pizza to cheese calzones, Ignazio’s of Brooklyn has it all. The restaurant is practically an Italian-food lover’s dream. The menu is very diverse, including all Italian-food lover favorites, such as meatballs and brick-oven pizza. Their most famous items are Estelle’s meatballs, Stuffed Artichokes, Three Apple Miso Salad and Tex-Mex Pizza. The ingredients are all fresh and very creative, such as adding any topping you would like on your pizza. The overall ambiance is excellent, especially the view from the restaurant being the Brooklyn Bridge.

If you have ever been to Brooklyn, then you know about the powerhouse Italian Restaurant, Grimaldi’s. Although Grimaldi’s is famous for their coal-fired brick oven pizza, they are also famous for their long lines. Ignazio’s is Brooklyn’s hidden gem because you can get quality Italian food without the long wait.

Dumbo, Brooklyn has many shops, from clothing boutiques to interior design stores. Some of these shops include West Elm, Baci Boutique, and Scotch & Soda.

Brooklyn has a cool, hip vibe to it which truly creates their overall culture. Their fashion seemed to be very similar to Brooklyn’s architecture and colors. Most of the clothes had a variation of the color brown, which seemed to have been influenced by Brooklyn’s designs and of course, the Fall season. Their fashion pieces are very different but are also up to date with the trends of the fashion industry. Although most of the shops located in Brooklyn are “Mom and Pop” shops, their pieces and items are truly beautiful and add to the culture of Brooklyn. Most of their shops are affordable, letting you purchase and leave with a little piece of Brooklyn.

After shopping, be sure to walk around and take in all of the breathtaking views of Dumbo, Brooklyn. The view of the Brooklyn Bridge is truly incredible and will definitely make a great end to a fantastic Fall day in Brooklyn.
